On November 26, in accordance with the expressed wishes of His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, we engaged in community action in commemoration of his birthday. Rigpe Dorje Centre delivered delicious and plentiful meals to 30 isolated individuals, mostly seniors, and one Syrian refugee family. Through the generosity of our members and friends, we are able to repeat this action on Thursday, Dec. 3.
We wish to thank our partners in this project, Marc Paradis, Coordinator- Seniors’ 50+ program and his colleagues at the Dawson Boys and Girls Club, and Valérie Paquette and her team at MobiloChef.
As a follow up, we will support the initiative of Toujours Ensemble to offer Christmas baskets of food for one week to 250 families in Verdun; along with gift cards for the youth.
To be involved in this project, you can make a donation to the Rigpe Dorje Centre, by Dec.14
