Friday, December 10 at 2 p.m. (Montréal Time – in French, simultaneous translation into English)

The Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche centre in France, Karma Theksoun Tashi Eubar Ling (KTTEL) is inviting the members and friends of Rigpe Dorje Centre in Montréal to join them on Zoom for a meeting with Tenzin Tulku.

Tenzin Tulku, born in Montréal and known by many here, is one of the first Westerners to have been recognized as a Tulku, a reincarnation of a Tibetan Lama, by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

In this session, he will give a direct testimony of his life journey through a dialogue with participants including questions and answers.

A very special opportunity to hear an intimate perspective of Buddhist spirituality and reincarnation.

From personal experience and insight, Tenzin Tulku sheds light on some misunderstood aspects of Buddhism: reincarnation and the phenomenon of tulkus, the illusory nature of the ego, the law of karma or universal interdependence.

Preregistration and prepayment ($10) are required before December 7. To register, please send your name and email address to centre@rigpedorjemontreal.org. You can pay by Interact (centre@rigpedorjemontreal.org), PayPal or cheque. (https://rigpedorjemontreal.org/en/rencontre-avec-tenzin-tulku/). You will receive an email with the Zoom link the 9th of December.

Friday, December 31, 10 a.m. to noon— On Zoom

Due to the rise of COVID community transmission, we will replace our traditional 3-day end-of-year Makahala retreat with one session of the practice of Makahala which Acharya Choying Gyurmey will lead on the last day of 2021. This event will be solely on Zoom.

It is the tradition to do special prayers to clear away obstacles before the start of a New Year.
