Forgiveness of self and others with compassion, loving kindness and wisdom

Teaching by The Very Venerable Shelri Choktrul Rinpoche

The Very Venerable Shelri Choktrul Rinpoche, born in 1993, in Bhijer, Upper Dolpo, Nepal, was found in accordance with the prophecy by H. H. the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Urgyen Trinley Dorje, and formally returned to his Seat at Tsakhang Monastery in Upper Dolpo’s sacred Dragon Roar Crystal Mountain.

As prophesied by the 15th Gyalwang Karmapa, Khakyab Dorje, the Shelri Choktrul Rinpoches are emanations of Repa Shiwa Ö, one of the eight great heart sons of Jetsun Milarepa. The 5th Shelri Choktrul Rinpoche began training and studies in Pullahari Monastery and is currently in the Rigpe Dorje Monastic Institute of Higher Buddhist Philosophy, Lava, India.

Following the teaching, we will dedicate a long life prayer and a lamp offering to commemorate H.H. the 17th Karmapa’s 36th birthday.
