Chenrezik Retreat
Study and Practice of the Sadhana
led by Acharya Choying Gyurmey
Suggested donation: $10 per day; $20 for the 2 days; Members $15.
Chenrezik, embodying the supreme compassion and loving kindness of all the Buddhas, manifests through activities of bodhicitta. Even just the pure force of the mantra in this Practice can benefit all sentient beings, especially important in these degenerate times of greed, desire, fear and negativity. The world is facing difficult times and with this retreat we aspire to generate greater awareness of the interconnectedness among all sentient beings, as well as with nature. Acharya will guide participants in the visualization and ritual of this Practice. Q & A will be included.
On each of the 2 days, from 9:30 to 10 a.m., Acharya will teach on:
- Who is Chenrezik
- Description of the visualization
- Why do we do this practice
- The benefits of this practice
During each of the other sessions, Acharya will give instructions and guide us in this practice. Acharya teaches in English. There will be translation into French. We will share the text of the sadhana on the screen.
