Essence of Buddha Nature

Teaching by by Khenpo Sherab Gyaltsen Negi

Khenpo Sherab Gyaltsen Negi graduated from Nalanda Institute at Rumtek Monastery in 1991 and was awarded the title of Khenpo in recognition of his scholarship. In 1992, he joined Lava Kagyu Thekchen Ling Monastery in India. Since then, he has been serving the various projects and activities of His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche. He underwent the traditional 3-year Mahamudra retreat under the Very Ven. Bokar Rinpoche and Khenpo Lodro Donyod at Mirik Monastery from 2003 to 2007. Today, Khenpo Sherab Gyaltsen is a senior administrator at Lava Kagyu Thekchen Ling Monastery and directs Rigpe Dorje Publications.

Green Tara Sadhana

We chant the Green Tara prayer with the motivation to avert physical, emotional and spiritual obstacles and to generate an attitude of compassionate action and altruism. Green Tara is one of the practices recommended during these difficult and fearful times of COVID-19 for tranquility and safety for oneself and others.

Conclusion of the teaching on The Mahamudra Aspiration Prayer by the 3rd Karmapa Rangjung Dorje

by the Third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje, portrays the essential points of the view, meditation, and fruition of Mahamudra practice, and the path to recognize the emptiness, clarity and awareness of our innate Buddha nature and wisdom.

His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje will be teaching on the Origins of Secret Mantra online, from Aug. 23 to Sept. 5, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Montréal time.

Please note that His Holiness will not be teaching on Wednesday, Aug. 25, Sunday, Aug. 29 and Wednesday, Sept. 1.

The Rigpe Dorje Centre will replace its regular program the last Saturday of August and the first weekend of September with the viewing of these teachings. This is an opportunity for members and friends of Rigpe Dorje Centre to come together to receive these precious teachings from His Holiness.
