H.E. the Fourth Jamgön Kongtrul Rinpoche’s Birthday Celebration

Though Rinpoché’s actual birthday is on November 26, please join us for a celebration on Sunday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Body, Speech and Mind Mandala offering, Guru Yoga and Calling the Lama from Afar, Lamp Offering, and dedication.

We will offer a Mandala, representing our Body, Speech and Mind, as well as khatas to the throne of H. E. the 4th Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoché.   

Traditional yellow rice and tea will be offered to all; we will then ceremoniously cut the birthday cake. The celebration will end with the Lamp Offering prayers.

On the occasion of Rinpoche’s birthday, we are collecting food donations for the St-Willibrord Food Bank in Verdun. 

Non-perishable food donations can be left at the Centre between November 14 and 26. We will also be collecting money to buy fresh produce. You can drop off your contributions of money at the Centre, or you can donate online via the following link: https://rigpedorjemontreal.org/en/dons-activites/
