Shamatha with Lama Tenzin Yongdu & Pullahari Monastery, by Nancy Drury

Sunday April 15th 10 a.m.
Shamatha practice will be directed
by Lama Tenzin Yongdu.

Lama Karma Tenzin Yongdu, a Buddhist monk of the Kagyu lineage, took vows with His Eminence the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche in 1986. He is also a senior student of the late Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Being an architect, a former real estate developer, father of four and grandfather of six, Lama Tenzin brings a sense of immediacy to the Dharma, making it relevant to our daily western, domestic and working situations. Tenzin Yongdu was based at Pullahari, Nepal from 1992-2015 and now lives in upstate New York.

Sunday April 15th 2 p.m.
Pullahari Monastery,

a presentation by Nancy Drury

This presentation will showcase Pullahari Monastery, the main seat of His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche in Nepal.  We will be focusing on the Rigpe Dorje Institute Philosophy and Meditation Programs, and the daily life of the students.

These programs are invaluable for students wishing to develop their appreciation of and insight into the Buddhadharma.
