Tibetan Momo Workshop
Led by: Gonpo Tashi and Acharya Choying Gyurmey

Join Gonpo Tashi and Acharya Choying Gyurmey in the preparation of Tibetan momos, a dumpling (vegetarian), emblematic of Tibet. 

You will be guided in the preparation and the rolling of the dough, the filling and the shaping of the momos. All to be done with mindfulness. BRING YOUR ROLLING PIN! 

Afterwards, we will share in a tasting session, and enjoy our momos.  

Bio of Gonpo Tashi: Gonpo Tashi is originally from the Thewo District in Tibet, where he spent his childhood as a monk. At 16, he left the monastery and travelled to India where he lived for 7 years. He now calls Québec home, having settled in Montréal 12 years ago. He is very committed to preserving, teaching and promoting the Tibetan language and culture throughout the Tibetan diaspora. Besides giving Tibetan language courses, he organizes cooking workshop and meditation sessions.
