Teaching and Empowerment of Buddha Amitabha
Tsangsar Tulku Rinpoche was born in 1975 and at age of thirteen entered into retreat at the monastery of His Eminence Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche. After finishing his three-year retreat he took on the responsibility of Retreat Master at the Seat of his father and ancestors at Tsangsar Lha Lam Osel Ling. At the age of 17, Rinpoche received full ordination from Ven. Dil Yag Dabzang Rinpoche and at the age of 18 he was recognized by His Eminence Tai Situ Rinpoche as the fourth incarnation of Ngag Gyud Dhargye Gyatso who was a student of Situ Pema Nyiche. He has received numerous empowerments, transmissions and oral instructions from many great masters, particularly from His Eminence Tai Situ Rinpoche, Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, Khenchen Pema Tsewang and Mingyur Rinpoche among others. Rinpoche is currently studying English at Berkley University in California.

The Teaching and Empowerment will be given in Tibetan and English.
The program is privately and generously sponsored and so there is no suggested donation requested for the weekend sessions. However, offerings to Rinpoche will be appropriate, and to Rigpe Dorje Centre appreciated.

Acharya Choying Gyurme was ordained as a monk by the Very Venerable Khenpo Tsultrim Gyatso Rinpoche in 1992 when he was 10 years old. He was then admitted to Lava Kagyu Thekchen Ling Monastery in India. After completing basic monastic training and education in Tibetan language, scriptures, rituals and Buddhist history, he joined the 13-year Acharya Program in Higher Buddhist Philosophy at the Rigpe Dorje Monastic Institute at Lava Kagyu Tekchen Ling Monastery. He successfully completed the program in 2014 and was conferred the Masters (Acharya) Degree in Higher Buddhist Philosophy on April 15, 2015 by His Eminence the Fourth Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche.
Rigpe Dorje Foundation has invited Acharya Choying Gyurme to come to Rigpe Dorje Centre as resident clergy. We are in the process of applying for the appropriate Immigration permit. These skyped teachings will provide the special opportunity to make a connection with him, and to introduce him to the Centre.
Suggested donation: $10 per session (members $5)
to be offered to Acharya Choying Gyurme in gratitude for his teachings.
Teachings will be in English with French translation.
