Teaching and Empowerment of Buddha Amitabha
Tsangsar Tulku Rinpoche was born in 1975 and at age of thirteen entered into retreat at the monastery of His Eminence Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche. After finishing his three-year retreat he took on the responsibility of Retreat Master at the Seat of his father and ancestors at Tsangsar Lha Lam Osel Ling. At the age of 17, Rinpoche received full ordination from Ven. Dil Yag Dabzang Rinpoche and at the age of 18 he was recognized by His Eminence Tai Situ Rinpoche as the fourth incarnation of Ngag Gyud Dhargye Gyatso who was a student of Situ Pema Nyiche. He has received numerous empowerments, transmissions and oral instructions from many great masters, particularly from His Eminence Tai Situ Rinpoche, Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, Khenchen Pema Tsewang and Mingyur Rinpoche among others. Rinpoche is currently studying English at Berkley University in California.

The program is privately and generously sponsored and so there is no suggested donation requested for the weekend sessions. However, offerings to Rinpoche will be appropriate, and to Rigpe Dorje Centre appreciated.

The Seven Points of Mind Training
HIS EMINENCE ZURMANG GHARWANG RINPOCHE

His Eminence Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche teaches Tibetan Buddhist meditation and philosophy worldwide. Born a prince of the Sikkimese Royal Court, he was recognized by His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa as the 12th incarnation of the Gharwang Tulkus. As supreme lineage holder of the Whispered Lineage of the Zurmang Kagyu tradition, Rinpoche continues the activity of the unbroken line of the Gharwang Tulkus. This line traces back to the great 14th century Tibetan siddha, Trung Mase, an emanation of the Indian mahasiddha, Tilopa, and founder of Zurmang Monastery and the Zurmang Kagyu tradition.

The aim of this Practice is to develop compassion for all including oneself, and ultimately to recognize enlightened mind. Going back to the Buddha, it is a teaching that is at the heart of the Mahayana tradition of Bodhicitta.
Empowerment of the Four Deities of the Kadampa Tradition

The four Deities are Buddha Shakyamuni, Chenrezik, Tara Arya, and Miyowa.
